As has been said many times in response to previous questions, the best way is by train, which takes 1h22 on the high-speed Thalys (there is no other type of train you can take!) but I can%26#39;t tell you how much it will cost you as you don%26#39;t say whether you will be returning to Brussels or whether this is a one-way trip. You can look it up for yourself on www.thalys.com : the cheapest return ticket (Smilys) costs €59 while a normal, fully-flexible ticket costs €78, both 2nd class. You must book in advance because the train is reservation-only, but you can often buy tickets at Gare du Midi up to a couple of hours before the train departs so you don%26#39;t have to buy online at this stage.
