Advice on travelling from Brussels to Bruge

I%26#39;ve booked a surprise 3 day city break to Bruges for me and my boyfriend. I%26#39;ve done it in a bit of a rush and now I%26#39;m panicking about whether or not I%26#39;ve done the right thing as it appears that Brussels isn%26#39;t that near to Bruges. Please could anyone advise me of the best way to transfer and how long it%26#39;s likely to take. We land at 8.30 am and fly back at 9.30 pm. Many thanks.

Don%26#39;t worry, Belgium is very small. The transfert from the airport to Bruges shouldn%26#39;t take you more than 1.30h. You take the rain that leaves from the airport to Brussels Central or South (every 15 mins one leaves and it takes about 30 mins). From either of those stops you then take the train to bruges: its the gent-oostende train. From Brussels central - Bruges its about 1hr.

Check out www.nmbs.be (also available in english!) where you can work out when all the train leaves, just enter your departing and end station, and you%26#39;ll be fine. have fun in Bruges!
