Driving around the Brussels airport

My husband and I will be flying into Brussels, renting a car, and then driving to Heerlen, The Netherlands (for a Helmut Lotti concert :-) )

I am a little nervous about driving around the Brussels airport. Does anyone have suggestions? I good, detailed map, might help!

After the concert we will have 2 days on our own and are thinking about staying near the Grand Place, within walking distance to the train station. Can you recommend a good, clean, and safe hotel in the area? Thanks!!!

Check out the %26#39;driving directions%26#39; on www.viamichelin.com

Fill in the from/to boxes - addresses (or place names if you don%26#39;t know street names) and the system will give you a detailed itinerary, with a detailed map.

It may be a bit chaotic around the airport, but once you%26#39;re on the E314 highway it%26#39;s always straight ahead. On the Belgian/Dutch border the highway number changes from E314 into A76.

You could also ask your rental if they rent GPS.

Enjoy the concert!

Me again ...

Fill in %26quot;Brussel-Nationaal-Luchthaven%26quot; in the address/station box and %26quot;Zaventem%26quot; in the city/area box.

It%26#39;s actually not that difficult to get on the E314.

Once you exit the airport you%26#39;re on ring around Brussels. Take ring RO. You will very soon see a sign to E40 Luik/Leuven etc. Take that direction. After about 10 km on the E40 you will see the sign to E314. That%26#39;s your road to Heerlen!

Thank you VERY much... I will check it out now!

That was an excellent map - thank you so much! I feel a lot better being able to see where we are going. Thank you!
