Brussels, Bruge or Antwerp for the weekend

Hi, I am flying into Brussels on a Saturday morning and staying until the following Wednesday morning.

I was wondering which of the above cities/towns would be best for the weekend and which would be best for the weekdays. Has anyone any views on this?

Thanks

Brussels hotel are expensive Mon-Thu and cheap fri-sun

Thanks for your reply, I was aware of the price change at weekends, but I was also interested to know whether the nightlife in one city of a saturday night would be better than the others.

Thanks

There%26#39;s no nightlife in Brugge. Plenty (particularly Gay) in Brussels, where there is a good international scene. Antwerp is OK but a bit parochial compared to Brussels - lots of Dutch spend the weekend in Antwerp. Best choice I would have Brussels

I would pick Brussels for the weekend however I have not been to Antwerp. Bruge was a small, quiet town but touristy as well. I found a ton of good pubs and taverns in Brussels. Particulraly enjoyed the St. Gery Area (younger crowd). Have fun.

hi.

whenever you decide to visit brussels and brugge are wonderful cities.

Try the %26quot;parochial%26quot; nightlife in Antwerpen. It%26#39;s great! Antwerpen is the most trendy city in Belgium at this moment. Check out the various articles

Bruseels and Bruge were both fun for nightlife. On our two week vacation last year, we spent most of our time having fun, partying, and meeting new people in both of these places. Don%26#39;t you find it doesn%26#39;t matter really what the nightlife is, it%26#39;s what you make of it?

It all depends what kind of nightlife you like.

I wouldnt stay in Bruges for the nightlife or for the weekend, it is always crowded.

The %26quot;real%26quot; nightlife doesnt really exist, except cafes etc.

Brussels and Antwerp are really different, but I din%26#39;t find Antwerp %26quot;parochial%26quot; as for what concerns nightlife.
