We are visiting Bruges in December for a friend%26#39;s birthday/Christmas Market and need to know any information you may have on Hotel T Zand ? ie is it within walking distance of the train station ?
|||
I don%26#39;t know the actual hotel, but t%26#39;Zand is 5 to 10 minutes stroll from the train station.
Just cross the station concourse, over the road, turn left, and walk towards the Concertgebouw (you can%26#39;t miss it, it%26#39;s a huge modern structure)
Have a great time, Brugge is a wonderful city :-)

Thanks
You seem to have quite a knowledge of Brugge (reading your previous posts) so do you think that Den Dijver would be an appropriate venue for a group of 14 of us celebrating a 50th birthday ? We can be rather noisy at times so don%26#39;t want to spoil the other Diners evening ! Also do you know of any good Jazz pubs around there ?

We%26#39;ve only ever been to den Dijver once at night, we usually visit for a lunch time treat.
It is a little genteel to be honest with you.
The emphasis is on attentive service, not to mention excellent food, errr and the beer!!!!
I%26#39;m not familiar with any jazz pubs in the area, but if you post a message on the forum, I%26#39;m sure someone will enlighten you.
We are over there again on May 3rd (my birthday treat), so if I come across anything suitable, I%26#39;ll be sure to let you know when we get back.
Feel free to mail me via the website if you want any info that I might be able to help you with :-)
