Travelling from Brussels to London

I am going to be in Brussels with family in early June and then taking the Chunnel to London to meet a friend but I am unable to tell if the train with stop at the King%26#39;s Cross station at that time so we can meet up. Any help would be appreciated.

Eurotunnel trains, including the Eurostar passenger train, will still be terminating at Waterloo International in June, from where you can of course take the underground. The move to St. Pancras is due to take place on 14 November 2007.

gaminari - thank you so much for the information! I will let my friend know.

Gaminari%26#39;s information is not correct. The Eurotunnel is the train which takes cars %26amp; passengers from Calais to Folkestone (about 25 minutes) under the Channel. 1 you need a car and 2 it will not take you to Waterloo or indeed anywhere near London

The Eurostar is for passengers travelling on a normal train from central Brussels to Waterloo. From November the 14th 2007 it will terminate in King%26#39;s Cross/St Pancras north of the River Thames but still in central London

My point was rather obviously that those trains which use the Channel Tunnel operated by Eurotunnel, and which currently stop at Waterloo International, will continue to stop at Waterloo International until mid-November. Those trains are indeed the Eurostar trains, not the car-carrying trains that never did stop at Waterloo and will not therefore transfer to St. Pancras in November; the car-train was not the subject of the question or of the answer.

Eurotunnel is the name of the company that is the operator of the Channel Tunnel and of the car-carrying train (formerly known as Le Shuttle) which takes vehicles from Coquelles, near Calais, to Cheriton near Folkestone. I would also use it for the tunnel itself in preference to %26quot;Chunnel%26quot;, a contraction with much the same overtones as Frisco for San Francisco, although strictly speaking it is the operating company and not the tunnel.

According to Eurostar and other sources (http://www.stpancras.com/), the new terminus will be called St. Pancras International. Even if, in addition to St. Pancras Mainline Station, it can be considered as part of a complex including the adjacent King%26#39;s Cross Mainline Station, King%26#39;s Cross Thameslink Station (under reconstruction) and King%26#39;s Cross St. Pancras Underground Station.

I think you will confuse people if you continue to refer to Eurotunnel trains in this way...Eurotunnel refers only to the car, lorry, coach carrying company that enters/exits at Coquelles (Calais) and (Cheriton) Folkestone. As a true pedant, you are correct in that Eurotunnel is the company that runs the Tunnel and the freight/car service but Eurostar is an entirely separate business
