I will be in Brussels for 8-10 hours and I was wondering what you all think is the most important to see. Thanks!

The only absolute must-see is the Grand%26#39; Place which you can only visit on foot, it%26#39;s about 5 minutes%26#39; walk down the hill from the Gare centrale. I would personally add the nearby Galeries St. Hubert (especially if by any chance it happens to be raining) which is also a good place to find cafés and restaurants, and you might want to add the Manneken Pis, I don%26#39;t know.
Apart from that you can take a hop-on, hop-off bus from outside the Gare centrale and drive past sights like the Cathedral, the Royal Palace, the Cinquantenaire archway, the Japanese tower and the Atomium, getting off only if there is perhaps a single museum you want to visit. The most %26quot;worthy%26quot; would probably be the Fine Arts Museum for the Flemish paintings, but my personal favourite is the Musical Instrument Museum, not just for the way in which the instruments are displayed (you wear headphones which tune into music from the instruments as you pass each display case) but for the interesting building and the view from the roof-top café. Note that both are closed on Mondays.
