Hotel pick in Brugge

My wife and I will be in Brugge for two days in July. We are looking at the Absoluut Verhulst B%26amp;B or possible the Fevery Hotel. Anyone have an experience or knowledge of either place?

Also, can anyone comment on the time needed to get from Brugge to Brussels and catch a plane? We are planning on spending the last night in Brugge, then catching a plane to Prague from Brussels and need to know how much time to allow for the trip (I understand its about an hour on the train) and also time at Brussels airport. Are there any unforseen problems with that connection?

Thanks for any help!!!

it is about 1 hour by train from brugge to brussels. I stayed a the Fevery a few years ago, quite suitable but i found it a little out of the way

We are off the beaten track but that means a good nights rest too ;-)

My husband and I just completed a 2 night stay at the Hotel Fevery and had a wonderful experience. It is a 10-15 minute walk up beautiful canals to the central Market square. The hotel is very nice, with a fine bath/shower/breakfast. Paul/owner is a wealth of information and so very helpful. He has many discount vouchers for bikes, tours, etc. The hotel is near a gorgeous church, 16th century I believe. We will stay there again.

Hi,

Definitely stay at Absoluute Verhulst!

Returned yesterday from Brugge, my 5th trip this time with 5 friends, and staying with Benno and Frieda made the trip really special. Their hospitality was unsurpassed. I have already booked my next stay with them.

You have to climb a few steps to your bedroom but that%26#39;s a good way to burn some calories especially after the huge breakfast they serve!

Have a great time, I always do!

Hi,

Yes, it is about an hour on the train from Brugge to Brussels, but then you have to catch another train to the airport, which - if I remember correctly - takes around 20 minutes. These trains leave Brussels quite regularly but you have to allow time in case you just miss one...
