We are picking up a car in Munich and driving it back to the UK. We would like to stop and spend 1-2 nights in Brugge as part of our trip. Could anyone suggest an itinerary; number of driving hours/ number of overnights or recommended pit-stops along the way? We%26#39;ll be traveling with our two children, ages 10 and 7. Thanks.

I would suggest you put Munich and Brugge (selecting the first of the choices it will then offer you, i.e. West-Vlaanderen Brugge 8000) in the %26quot;postcode, city, area%26quot; box under departure and destination respectively in www.viamichelin.com and see which of the places en route appeal to you, e.g., among the places your route will pass close to, Heidelberg, Koblenz and Maastricht.
After that you can do the same with Brugge and Eurotunnel (not Euro Chunnel!) for directions to the Channel Tunnel near Calais, which should take you less than 1 1/2 hours.
