advice for one day in Brussels in June

We were looking for a daytrip from London and when we found out we could get to Brussels for less than we could get to York, it was an easy decision. So now we have one day in Brussels, about which we know nothing. The London forum has been extremely helpful in making our London plans. Whatever tips, must-misses or suggestions you may have about how best to use our 10 hours would be gratefully received.

Very near one another:

Grand Place

Halles St Gery

Rue Neuve for shopping

St Hubert for a cafe or shopping if it is raining

Very near one another:

Place du Grand Sablon

Les Marolles Market

Palais Justice

And of course waffles and chocolate!

You could probably walk to all of these in one day but a slower pace would be more enjoyable. Very easy to navigate and easy to use train from airport.
