We are looking for any ideas anyone may have for somewhere to go for a long weekend in May/June in the Ardennes for a quiet vacation, some hiking, some good food and an easygoing vacation. We will have two kids along aged 9 and 11.

The Hoge Venen (Hautes Fagnes) area at the Belgian/Dutch/German border is nice, too. Botrange is the highest point in Belgium. Check out http://www.natuurparkcentrum.be/
Spa and Malmédy are pretty cities.
