Hi,
My parents are transiting through Brussels Airport to Frankfurt from Washington DC.
They arrive at 7:30A on United and their flight to Frankfurt is at 08.50 a.m. Thier luggage will be booked directly.
My Question is how far will they have to walk. They are aged and since this is a mileage ticket there is no flexibility. to change. The airport website shows one building only so do they just have to go upstiars to departure.
Any help in knowing what to expect is appreciated.

While there is only one building, there are 2 long piers, and your parents will definitely have to change from one to the other. Flights TO the U.S leave from the very end of pier B (non-Schengen), so that they can be the subject of additional security checks, so if they arrive there also, they could well have to walk the entire length of that pier to the main building and then of course as far as required in Pier A (Schengen) to whatever gate it is for the flight to Frankfurt. Unless their flight is delayed, they should have time, though, and there are travelators for much of the way.

Gaminari,
Thank you. I will prepare them for the walk.
