Walking Tour in Brugge

I%26#39;ve been told that the Brugge Tourist Office (or some such organization) (a) offers a guided (not self-guided) walking tour at 3:00 o%26#39;clock in the afternoon and (b) it is always fully booked. Accordingly, one should book early in the day. Unfortunately, we won%26#39;t arrive in Brugge until mid-day and probably won%26#39;t be able to reserve spots for the walking tour that afternoon.

When I check the city%26#39;s web site I find information only about self-guided walking tours. Can anyone confirm that there is such a guided walking tour? Any recommendations as to how to make reservations for it prior to arrival in Brugge?

Any other suggestions or information regarding walking tours in Brugge?

I have done the guided tour of Brugge (i.e. with a personal guide) twice and on both occasions I just e-mailed the tourist office and organised this, the guy met me as arranged early afternoon 1400hrs and I paid him at the end of the trip.

It wasn%26#39;t very expensive and well worth doing as he moved at our pace and stopped when we wanted to.

Perhaps if you mail the tourism office they%26#39;ll give you the best options

Check with your hotel. They can easily book you in for a tour - some even offer it free eg Prinsenhof midweek days...
