I%26#39;m looking to purchase a one way ticket from Brussels Nord to Amsterdam Central on May 5th. Should I purchse a Thalys ticket for this or should I purchase intercity tickets for this. Also where should I buy my tickets at. I would appreciate any responses very much.
Thank You

Unless you specifically want a Thalys departure (check timetable for all trains from Bruxelles-Nord to Amsterdam-Centraal on http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/ or, for Thalys only, www.thalys.com), there is currently no time advantage in taking a Thalys train to Amsterdam rather than InterCity, and on top of that, Thalys only leaves from Bruxelles-Midi so you would have to take a local train first. I don%26#39;t know whether you can use the Belgian Railways%26#39; online purchase system from the U.S. but in any case most people would just buy the ticket at the station prior to departure.

Thank you for that. I would love to purchase tickets online if possible. If anyone knows which site allows online purchase please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Have you already tried qaminari%26#39;s b-rail.be link? It is the Belgian Railway website. if you can%26#39;t buy your ticket from them, try www.nsinternationaal.nl
In any case, there is NO ADVANTAGE in buying online except that you save a few minutes at the station.
