Trains from Brussels to Bruges

Off on Friday via Eurostar however it states the trip between Brussels and Bruges is not valid on Thayls trains, how often do the other trains run and I presume they are direct?

Thanks

There are no Thalys trains to Brugge, and never have been! There is no high-speed line on that route. Trains from Brussels to Ostende, De Panne and Blankenberghe stop at Gent and then Brugge (one hour) and there are several of them every hour from Gare du Midi, Gare centrale and Gare du Nord.

Thanks, on Monday the 12th to return there appears to be some sort of engineering work going checking http://www.b-rail.be/nat/E/timetables/

Not exactly, werfinftrv.b-holding.be/map.aspx?lang=0 says that trains between Bruxelles-Midi and Gent are delayed by 2 MINUTES on working days during the weeks 5-9 Feb and 12-16 Feb, so both on the Friday when, if I understand correctly, you will be travelling to Brugge and the Monday when you will be travelling back. However it is lucky you aren%26#39;t travelling at the weekend of 10-11/2 when it says there is a diversion between Gent and Brugge, owing to work on a bridge, with delays of half an hour.

Again, thanks for the reply, all being well I am hoping to catch the 1506 from Brussels Friday 9th and the 1002 back from Bruges to Brussels on Mon.

Ps whats the weather exected to be like :-)
