I am worndering the best (quickest) way to get from Brussels airport (Zaventem) to Ghent? I see from the rail website that I can get a train from the airport station either direct or with a stop in Brussels that takes about an hour to get to Gent St. Peters. Is it also possible to get a coach or airport shuttle type of transportation which might be faster? (I will be traveling for business, so cost is less of an issue). I plan to arrive at 8 am at the airport from an international flight and need to spend as much of that day in Ghent.
Thanks!!

The train will be your best bet. You could take a taxi since cost is not an issue but at time of the day the roads are so congested that I would definitely prefer the train.
I don%26#39;t know of any coach service.

At that time of the day the train is the best bet.
But do get a first class ticket, thus making sure you get a comfortable seat.
