I can only remember this question being asked once but I can%26#39;t be bothered to look for it to find the answer (I don%26#39;t think anybody knew, no-one I know would do this trip by taxi!), all I can tell you is that as it costs about €60 for a taxi from Brussels Airport to central Brussels, and as Charleroi Airport is over twice the distance away, I would imagine that it could be over €100. However, as you have been talking to taxi companies about minibuses, why not just ask them about the cost of ordinary taxis? It could be that if you reserve 4-5 of them (depending on how much luggage these people have) in advance they would give you a discount.

You could also consider taking the Ryanair coach into Brussels (€11 per person) and then taxis (or indeed metro) from there.

Incidentally, the Hotel Président Nord is near Place Rogier, not in the Grand%26#39; Place area.

Hello.

First of all, Brussels-Charleroi is a misleading name that only low fare airlines would use (certain airlines that call Hahn in Germany %26quot;Frankfurt%26quot; although it%26#39;s 80 km from Frankfurt..)

So yes, you would spend over 100 EUR to go to Brussels by taxi. I also think it%26#39;s more likely you%26#39;ll be using 3 taxis. Charleroi is about 60 km from Brussels.

Are you on a low budget trip? If Yes: There seems to be an airport bus to the train station, from there you get to Brussels. If you buy a 10-rides-ticket, I think it%26#39;s called streckencard or something, that one costs you about 60 EUR (it%26#39;s valid for one ride as far as you like but may be the cheaper option for 10 people to get to Brussels).

Grand place to Place Rogier is about 2 km on foot, or 1 - 2 metro stations, or 1 train station (Grand place near %26quot;Centraal%26quot;, Rogier near %26quot;Nord%26quot;). If you use trains in Brussels, be aware that the South station has two different names (2 languages), Sud=Midi.

Good luck.

I don%26#39;t know why I wrote €60 from Brussels Airport to Central Brussels, actual cost is €30 so presumably I already doubled it (can be €35 depending on traffic conditions). Anyway, you need to ask for a quote because it could well be that for a multiple booking you can get some sort of special rate.

Brussels is not a huge city and the whole centre is walkable, so no, Rogier is not that far from the Grand%26#39; Place, but it is inaccurate to describe the hotel as being in that area. Your hotel is on Bd. Adolphe Max which runs parallel to the rue Neuve, Brussels%26#39; main shopping street. It would take about 10-15 minutes to walk to the GP or you can take the underground tram 2 stops to Bourse.

Incidentally, I suggested in response to your previous question that you look into hiring a coach, not a minibus - did you try the company I suggested?

If they can%26#39;t do it, there are plenty of other possibilities, e.g.:
