Hello
I will be attending a wedding in Lille, Belgium later this year. Can anyone point me to the right direction of finding a hotel in Lille or near Lille. I can%26#39;t seem to find any online. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thank You

Lille is not in Belgium but in France - nowhere near Antwerp, which is up near the border with the Netherlands! If you go to the Lille forum, you should find a list of %26quot;Lille hotels%26quot;, as recommended by TA users, on the left of the page.

Just to rule out confusion, you do mean Lille with postal code 2275, right? This village is located in the middle of the triangle Antwerpen - Geel - Turnhout.
I found one B%26amp;B in Lille: http://www.hildegarden.be/
The closest (small) towns are Kasterlee (8 km), Geel (8 km) and Turnhout (12 km). All three have a few hotels.
Antwerpen is about 30 km from Lille.
Good luck!

Yes, I do mean the little village in Antwerpen called Lille. Not the one in france. Sorry for the confusion! Thanks for the info. I will check out the nearby towns

Sorry! Should have left it to the Antwerp expert...

I lived in Lille a few years ago: this is my opinion:
There%26#39;s a city near Lille, called Turnhout. It has a few hotels. The biggest one is Hotel Corsendonk Viane (84 rooms) (www.corsendonkviane.be). One of the best hotels has always been (don%26#39;t know if it still is) Hotel ter Driezen (www.ter-driezen.be). The distance between Lille and Turnhout is about 15 KM. There are several taxi-companies in Turnhout to take care of transportation.
There are also hotels at Kasterlee (12 KM), but I think it will be a lot more difficult to find transportation to get back to your hotel at night, because it%26#39;s much more smaller than Turnhout.
One of the better hotels in Kasterlee is de Watermolen (www.watermolen.be)
