Hi
We are flying in to Brussels Charleroi from Dublin on 5th May next and heading to Brugge for 3 days staying at Hotel Malleberg. ( Can%26#39;t wait).
I would appreciate some advice on the best way of traveling on Public transport to Bruge from the Airport.
Thanks
Mossy

I take it you mean Charleroi Airport (only Ryanair calls it %26quot;Brussels South%26quot;, this is not its official name!), in Gosselies, and not Brussels Airport, in Zaventem.
The easiest way from there to Brugge is by Ryanair coach to Bruxelles Midi (11 EUR, 45 minutes - not actually run by Ryanair but timed to meet Ryanair flights) and then train from there to Brugge (12 EUR single, just under 1 hour on the fastest trains which are those going to Knokke, Blankenberg, Ostende, of which there are several an hour).
It is also possible to take a local bus A or 68 from Charleroi Airport to Charleroi-Sud railway station (10 minutes, I don%26#39;t know the price but it couldn%26#39;t be more than 3 EUR), and then the train from there (18 EUR single, +/- 2 hours); however, as you would in all cases have to change at Bruxelles-Midi (and sometimes also in Mons), taking the bus into Brussels would mean you only have one change of means of transport, which will be easier with luggage. In addition, I have seen complaints that the local buses routinely miss the connection to Brussels, at least at weekends when there aren%26#39;t that many of them.
You can look up the train timetable yourself on http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/
Enter departure station Charleroi-Sud or Bruxelles-Midi and arrival station Brugge. It may ask you to reconfirm Brugge because there is another station, Brugge Sint Pieters - which you don%26#39;t want.

Thank you Gaminari for that information.
That was exactly the kind of info %26amp; tips I was looking for.
