Brussels or Antwerp??????

Hello Everyone,

I am going to Amsterdam in April and was wondering if anyone would suggest which city is most recomended to visit Brussels or Antwerp just for one day.

Well I will jump in if no-one else will, and recommend Brussels, although I am sure that in the meantime you will have compared %26quot;Brussels Attractions%26quot; (see left) with %26quot;Antwerp Attractions%26quot; in the Antwerp forum and checked which of these coincides most with your interests. Take the InterCity train so you can get off at Gare centrale (Thalys will leave you at Gare du Midi) and you will be only 5 minutes%26#39; walk from the Grand%26#39; Place.

My head is still in Rome, but I%26#39;ll jump in too!

Antwerp is your place to go. Not only because it%26#39;s closer when you come from Amsterdam but mostly because it%26#39;s a very pretty city. It has a small historical centre with all the highlights concentrated together. You can walk anywhere.
