I%26#39;m making my first trip to Brussels (with one other gal) and we were wondering what the best bars/clubs, dinner places and sights were to see? We will only be there Thursday, friday, Saturday and Sunday night....catching our train to Amsterdam monday morning...We love beer, dancing, food and taking pictures, so if anyone knows the best places to do these things in four days that would be helpful!! Thanks!!

Apart from the Grand%26#39; Place and the Galeries St. Lambert, I recommend a visit to the Musical Instrument Museum for the beautiful building and the roof-top café, almost the only place in Brussels where you can look down from above (better view in my opinion than from the square by the Palais de Justice).
For beer cafés there are plenty of recommendations in previous questions/answers but you would probably like the Delirium Café which claims to serve over 2000 types of beer and is in a little alleyway off the bottom end (top end being at the Galeries St. Hubert) of the rue des Bouchers, and the Poechenellekelder which is easy to find as it is next to the Manneken Pis.
For food, in the same area I recommend the café above Dandoy, opposite the Amigo Hotel in the street leading from the Grand%26#39; Place to the Manneken Pis, for the best waffles in Brussels and on the opposite corner (of rue des Chapeliers, which turns into %26quot;pitta street%26quot;, officially rue du Marché aux Fromages) you will find the restaurant Aux Pavés de Bruxelles. I do not, on the other hand, recommend anywhere in the Ilôt Sacré (rue des Bouchers, petite rue des Bouchers) apart from Aux Armes de Bruxelles and Chez Léon.

There is a good bar called La Lunette which sells lots of different beers and they do a special round flat glass which I think holds one litre of beer which is fun to try.
It is on a fairly quiet street somewhere between the main shopping street and Rue Des Bouchers.
Cafe Delerium is good too for all the different beers - it is off Rue des Bouchers and up a little side street which is easy to miss if you are not looking carefully.
