Hi,

I really advise you rent from Avis and ask for their portable GPS system. This way you will never be lost and the cost it 10 euros per day.

If you can not secure a GPS system the best way to go to Brugge is to get on the E411 highway you will see it as you leave the aiport (ask at the car rental counter which towns are listed on the highway entrance as there are 3 entrances to highways when you leave the airport.) Drive about 10 minutes and exit onto the E40 toward Gent/Aalst/Brussel. You will go about 80 km to the exit for Kortrijk, Rooselare, Zeebrugge, Brugge. Follow the signs to Brugge from there. As you enter Brugge, look to your left for the walled city. You will see signs with a large P for parking which is in the direction of the train station. It is best to park in this garage as the old city is just outside. Do not try to park inside old Brugge, it is next to impossible to find a place and many of the streets are torn up.

The highways are clearly marked and Brugge is a major city.

If you cannot get a hold of a GPS why don%26#39;t you go on maporama.com and key your departure point and your arrival point - it will give you all the driving directions you need - David
