As has been said in response to other questions, Easter Monday is a public holiday here which is like a bank holiday in the UK, everything will be closed except tourist shops/services (like boat trips). Most museums in Belgium close on Mondays anyway, although it is possible that because of Easter some may be open - I know the Groeninge Museum in Brugge opens on Easter Monday when it would otherwise be closed, but SMAK in Ghent does not, you will have to check for anything that specifically interests you; St. Bavo%26#39;s cathedral (for the Mystic Lamb) is closed in the morning on Sundays and religious holidays - which no doubt includes Easter Monday - open in the afternoons unless there are special services, you may have to ask at the Tourist Office which is in the crypt of the belfry (Botermarkt), where I would advise you to call in any case for maps etc.. Virtually all shops except souvenir shops and some groceries are closed on Sundays in Belgium, Easter makes no difference in that respect. Saturday also will be the same as any other Saturday, i.e. everything will be open, shop opening hours are something like 09:00 till 18.30, later for supermarkets.
