bruges on a sunday?

Hi me and my friend will be coming to bruges on a sunday and wanted to know if everything still opens?ie shops and bars.Also what about ostend will things be open there.Hope someone can help us.thanks

We were there today (Sunday) and just about everything was open. Some of the stores were closed, but most restaruants and cafes were open. The brewery tour was open, as were all churches. Have fun!

Just about all of the shops in Ostend will be open on a Sunday.

Tourist shops, bars and restaurants will be open. Most usual shops eg clothes shops that are not specifically for tourists will be closed. Belgium closes on Sunday!
