charleroi to sheraton

Hi, We usually travel eurostar but this time we are flying, so how do we get from the airport to the sheraton on Rogier by train?

As your question is entitled %26quot;Charleroi to Sheraton%26quot; I presume you are asking about getting from Charleroi Airport to Brussels. The easiest way is by Ryanair coach which brings you to the Gare du Midi (45-60 minutes, €11), then from there you can take a tram 5 stops to Rogier, or if you prefer (especially if you have luggage), metro line 2 although this will be a bit of a long way around (both €1.50 for a single ticket).

At Gare du Midi you follow the signs for the metro, the trams that run between Gare du Midi and Gare du Nord are shown on the metro map, on http://www.stib.irisnet.be/FR/31000F.htm.

However, as you specified %26quot;by train%26quot;, you can also catch a local bus from Charleroi Airport (details are on the airport%26#39;s website) to Charleroi-Sud railway station and from there, take a train to Brussels. The nearest station to your hotel would be Gare du Nord which is about 5 minutes walk away from Rogier.

I think I have made a mistake. I didnt realise , is there two airports in Brussels, I thought we were much closer! Do you have any idea what a taxi woud cost fro Charleroi airrt to te Sheraton. Thanks

A taxi from Charelroi to the Sheraton will cost you 80-90 euros I would think. It costs me 30 euros from Zaventem to my home which is less than half as far as Charelroi.
